100 HOUR & 140 HOUR HOME INSPECTOR TRAINING COURSE OVERVIEW
While Every Aspect of The Training Program Will be Covered, We Reserve the Right to Modify the Schedule as May be Required to Suit the Needs of the Student, ABITCO Inc., the Instructors, and Federal or State Regulations.
THE OBJECTIVE IS TO EDUCATE THE INDIVIDUAL TO CONDUCT A FULL HOME INSPECTION PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING SIGNIFICANT DEFECTS RELATED TO ONE TO FOUR FAMILY DWELLINGS.

Exterior Components
Structural Components
Module 2
25 Hours Including:
Electrical Systems
Interior Components
Insulation and Ventilation
Module 3
25 Hours Including:
Plumbing Systems
Heating Systems
Cooling Systems
Module 4
25 Hours Including:
Overview of the Profession
Licensing Law
Report Writing
All students will be tested at the end of Modules 1 thru 4. A passing grade of 70% must be achieved in order to obtain a certificate for a particular module.
Module 5:
40 Hours of Field Inspections
Field inspection sites may be provided by the student or the school A licensed Home Inspector will accompany the student during the inspection Report forms will be provided by the school for this part of the training. Post inspection analysis with the Licensed Inspector will critique the student's report.

JOB PLACEMENT - ABITCO's Home Inspector Training is designed to prepare individuals to obtain employment as a home inspector working for an existing home inspection company, establishing their own home inspection company, or obtaining a job working as a code enforcement official
NO placement services are available and ABITCO makes NO promise of employment or success to any student. COMPLETION RATES: More than 95% of students complete the training course and pass the New York State Home Inspector License Exam.
GENERAL NOTE: The student is entitled to unlimited technical telephone support after the training program has ended. The student will be provided with a certificate of completion when all aspects of this training are complete
